Professor Amos Witztum Biography: Professor Witztum is a Visiting Fellow at the Department's Central Academic Group. He acquired his PhD in economics at LSE and has been teaching at London Metropolitan University, Solvay Business School (Universite Libre de Bruxelles-ULB), Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Sorbonne (Paris I) and the Singapore Institute of Management. He was one of the founders of the New Economic School in Moscow (a graduate school) as well as the International College of Economics and Finance in Moscow and the International School of Economics in Almaty. Professor Witztum is the book review editor of Economica and is on the board of editors of various other journals. He is also the General Secretary of the European Society for the History of Economic Thought (ESHET). Professor Witztum's research interests lie in the interface between economics as a theory of organisation and the social and ethical dimensions of human interaction. Through the study of both current issues and the history of economic analysis, he has been exploring further the relationship between individuals and social organisations from the corporate level to the economy as a whole.
